Prelude in 15 E by Francisco Tarrega
Prelude in 15 E- Francisco Tarrega (1852-1902)
Time 1:24
Tarrega is responsible for taking the classical guitar to new heights. Because of Tarrega’s profound understanding of the guitar, including the romantic style and concept of fingering, virtually every classical guitarist have been influenced by this great maestro. Tarrega not only wrote numerous original compositions for the instrument as well as preludes in various key signature.
Technique
This prelude comes with a lot of Barre Chords. If you got small hands or just starting classical guitar, look elsewhere. For those who are ready to have a go the good news is that there are only 8 bars to be repeated twice. Measure [7] has a double notes slide with hammer on-a nice effect if delivered properly. The notes of the prelude are played in triplet time in a 4/4 time signature. Standard Tuning. Lento play slow.

Tips
Left hand fingering (chords) needs more attention compared to the right. Since this is a slow prelude, it is important to let the notes ring out and suspend them as indicated.
