Estudio-Moderato in Am Dionisio Aguado (1784 – 1849)
Grade 2 Early Intermediate

Aguado was a Spainard born in Madrid. Aguado was a contemporary and friend of Fernando Sor. Aguado was a guitar tutor and he produced a body of work called the Escuela de Guitarra or School of guitarists. Estudio is a good beginner song being a straightfoward without a single barred chord.
Technique
Make sure you put special emphasis on the bass-played with your thumb. There are no barred chords which makes this song fairly easy to play. Play at moderate speed.

Put special emphasis on the bass notes
Tip
Try “accenting” the bass note. This means playing all the thumb notes a little harder or louder than the rest. Ideally you would want to keep th bass lingering throughout the entire song.
