Matteo Carcassi (Florence, Italy, 1792 – Paris, France, January 16, 1853), was a famous Italian guitarist and composer. Carcassi wrote a method for guitar that remains valuable, relevant and interesting. His most famous works are collected in his 25 Studies, op.60. Arpeggio in E is an exercise practice for the right hand dealing with the pattern pmiami. Much of Carcassi songs are easily playable as he wrote works for beginners who are newly acquainted with the guitar.

Tips
Arpeggio in E is a short exercise in the key of E. Being only 8 bars in length, it is short and it should be treated as an educational exercise piece rather than an actual song. You can always combine these 8 bars with another piece. In other word play Arpeggio in E as a prelude to longer piece in the same key.
