Aubade Rene Bartoli (1941-)
Rene Bartoli is a contemporary guitaist from France. Bartoli won the International Guitar Cometition of O.R.T.F. at Salle Gaveau in Paris at age 21. An aubade is a poem or song of or about lovers separating at dawn. Aubade has also been defined as “a song or instrumental composition concerning, accompanying, or evoking daybreak.”
Tip
At all times let go off barred chords at the last moment (just before any open string plucking)
Bar 6’s 3/4 barred chord be cause some problems for the inexperienced. From bar 5, the easiest way to land this chord is to use your middle finger and slide into barred position.
Bar 25 has a chain of hammer ons and pull offs. This should be played smooth.
Bar 7’s 4 fret stretch and Bar 11’s 3 fret stretch may be a problem for small hands.
