Andantino by Dionisio Aguado (1784-1849)

Dionisio Aguado was a spanish guitarist and good friend of Fernando Sor. Aguado studied music at a college in Madrid where a monk named Basilio taught him how to play the guitar. In 1824, Aguado wrote a system of fingering and harmonic effect called “the method” which is still used as a reference guide for guitarist today. Andantino is an easy and short song ideal for beginners.
Technique
16 Bars in total. There are 2 parts that must be played twice each. AABB. For a beginner this song is an exercise for both left and right hand. Getting more familiarized with the mechanics of playing guitar.

Remember Suspend bass with the open strings (E,A,D).

thanks for your advice on writing i will try to put more personal touch to it. i play guitar best. my main goal is to play the songs well enough. tab it out and provide the midi of the songs. i spend 80% playing and 15% tabbing and 5% writing.

Thank you for putting these up. I’m a beginner and enjoy the classical stuff. I’m having some problems with the last two bars of each section. I just can’t make it sound like you. Could you provide some tips on those last bars on what you are doing?
more info bro. having problems means what exactly? cant sound a certain string? right or left hand problem? my tab provides both hand fingering. the last 2 measure. you have to go downstroke with thumb and upstroke with middle or index-up to you. keep practicing to play it slow at first. hope i answered you. good luck.
